What is the cost of the Fine Arts and Eats Card?
$20, which includes postage and handling.
How much of my purchase will go to the participating performing arts group?
70% of your purchase will be distributed directly to the performing arts group you choose.
How do I choose which performing arts group is the recipient of my purchase?
When you purchase the card, you will be asked to designate a recipient, a simple choice from a drop-down list. You can also choose to have your donation distributed equally among all participants.
When does the Fine Arts and Eats Card expire?
The Fine Arts and Eats Card is valid until December 31st of the year in which the card is purchased.
How many times can I use my card?
You can use the card as many times as you like, until the card expires or the business chooses to no longer participate. Check the online listing often as new restaurants will be added on a regular basis.
How much of a discount must businesses offer in order to participate?
This will be left up to the discretion of the participating business. Please continue to check the website for special promotions and card exclusives.
Is the card partnered only with upscale restaurants?
Although the card will be associated mainly with upscale restaurants, we all need a little access to some of the better “everyday” foods. Treating yourself or special guests to the area, celebrating those “special moments in life”, or enjoying a fine glass of wine with some fine culinary treats is special indeed. But every once in a while there is that weekend with family and friends where nothing beats a good pizza!
Why aren’t there some of the larger chain restaurants participating?
Our sponsored performing arts groups pride themselves on their own innovative, creative, and independent drive. Much the same way, this card connects you with small businesses which are locally owned and operated. The main challenge facing independent arts groups and businesses alike is funding. Support of both supports your own local community.
Can any business participate?
Yes, but there are rules of business etiquette that must be followed. In an effort to maintain a high quality product, participating businesses will have to perform well. Those receiving many complaints are off the program. This will maintain the quality of the Fine Arts and Eats Card, and your purchase.
